Therapist Yasemin - A brief introduction
My name is Yasemin. I am a psychodynamic therapist and systemic practitioner in Amsterdam.
I grew up between cultures, with roots in Sivas, Turkey, and a life in the Netherlands. This duality made me sensitive to what is spoken and what remains unspoken—to visible strength and hidden vulnerability.
My own path has not been linear. It has required questioning expectations and learning to listen to my intuition. My experiences in Vipassana silent retreats taught me that when we stop the noise of distraction, our deeper truths can finally surface.
Alongside my therapeutic training, I hold a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management. I am fascinated by how unconscious patterns influence not only our private lives but also our professional worlds.
In our sessions, I am warm and involved, but also honest and grounded. I will not push you faster than your system can handle, but I will gently help you look at what is ready to be seen.
You are more than welcome.
